Red Indicators: Disconnected Hardware

When a hardware device appears red, it indicates that it is not connected or is not responding. This is likely due to network problems, hardware failure, or communication problems between the device and the system. The red color catches the eye immediately and indicates an alarm has sounded that something must be done-urgently.

  • Action Required: Physically check the device's physical connections, the power, and the network configuration. If the problem can't be resolved, replace or repair the hardware.
  • Visual Representation: Red is a very eye-catching warning, so users deal with the problem right away to regain functionality.
